Bernstein Private Wealth Management, the private-wealth arm of AllianceBernstein L.P., has appointed Joel Stevens to head the firm’s regional office in Tampa, Fla., the company announced this week in a news release.
In his new role, Stevens will be responsible for overseeing Bernstein’s Tampa-based private client operations and growth of the business in the region, which includes Tampa-St. Petersburg-Sarasota, Orlando, Jacksonville and Naples. He and his team will work with high-net-worth individuals and families, executives, business owners and institutions to build a plan for their financial life.
Stevens, an industry veteran with more than three decades of experience, joined the company as an associate in 1994. Prior to his new appointment, he was a senior managing director responsible for oversight of Bernstein’s New York private-wealth operations.
Stevens earned a B.S. degree in applied economics from Cornell University.
