BIP Wealth, an Atlanta-based wealth management firm, has appointed Nathan Smith as chief operating officer.
Smith, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, most recently worked as chief business officer for Hire Heroes USA in Alpharetta, Ga., where he also held the titles of chief financial officer and chief operating officer over the past nine years.
Smith earned a B.A. degree in international studies and political science from the Virginia Military Institute. He received his M.A. in public administration and policy from the University of Georgia.
Founded in 2007 as Buckhead Investment Partners, BIP Wealth is a fee-only registered investment advisory firm with offices in Atlanta’s Buckhead area and in Alpharetta, Ga.
