BNY Mellon Wealth Management, a division of Bank of New York Mellon in New York City, has appointed Steve Kutz as regional president in Los Angeles, the company announced in a news release today.
In his new position, Kutz will oversee all aspects of the wealth management business in Greater Los Angeles, including advisory, investments, fiduciary, private banking and marketing matters. He will be based in Los Angele, and will report directly to West Regional President Rob Kricena.
Kutz, an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, has worked with ultra-high-net-worth families, endowments and foundations. Prior to joining BNY Mellon Wealth Management, he worked as regional director of the Pacific Northwest Region at Bessemer Trust.
He received his bachelor's degree in finance from Pennsylvania State University.
