CIBC, a Toronto-based financial firm, is expanding its U.S. presence with the addition of two bankers to its commercial banking and wealth management teams at the CIBC Bank USA in Denver.
Kate Rooney is joining CIBC’s Commercial Banking team as a managing director and relationship manager. Vanessa Ringdahl will be part of CIBC’s Private Wealth Management team as managing director and senior private banker.
Rooney will work with middle-market companies on lending and deposit solutions. Prior to joining CIBC, Rooney spent 10 years in a variety of commercial banking roles at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., most recently serving as relationship manager and vice president managing a portfolio of middle-market clients.
Ringdahl will work with high-net-worth individuals and families on credit and cash solutions and financial planning. Previously, she spent more than a decade at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. Most recently, she served as a vice president, advising ultra-high-net worth individuals and families.
