Cynthia D. Brittain has joined Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP as a partner in its Trusts and Estates practice in its Los Angeles-Century City office, the firm announced.
Brittain previously served as the director of Inbound Wealth Advisory and as a senior fiduciary officer for Northern Trust designing estate plans. She also was employed as an attorney in London and Hong Kong, where she counseled clients on tax and wealth transfer strategies, including succession plans for family-owned businesses.
She is a member of the Los Angeles chapter of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and co-chair of the tax committee of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association. She is often a guest speaker on multi-generational and international estate planning and cross-border fiduciary issues.
