Concurrent, a partnership of independent advisors affiliated with Raymond James Financial Services Inc., has recently added seven new advisor teams with a total of more than $1.1 billion in assets under management, according to a news release.

The breakaway teams, which are based in Alaska, Florida, Kentucky, Michigan and Mississippi, include:

Head Retirement & Wealth Strategies, one of two teams picked up by Concurrent in Fairbanks, Alaska. Formerly of Wedbush, it includes financial advisors Roark “Alan” Head, who has nearly 40 years in the financial services industry, and Austin Head. They are joined by service associate Deborah Combs. They manage nearly $300 million in AUM.

Also in Fairbanks and formerly with Wedbush is Krista Stamper of Stamper Wealth & Retirement Group. She brings nearly $253 million in AUM.

Joining from Owensboro, Ky., is Thacker Wealth and Retirement, headed by Tracy Thacker. His team includes Tammy Duncan, Penney Brooks and Debra Thacker. The team, formerly with Edward Jones, manages $259 in AUM.

Also in Kentucky, Concurrent office Hendrickson Wealth and Retirement in Benton, headed by Richard Hendrickson, added Kayla Jo Teckenbrock and Jackie Rainey, formerly with Edward Jones. This new team brings $87 million in AUM.

Richard Crowne and Kelly Coghlan, formerly with Wells Fargo Advisors, joined the Concurrent team in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. They manage nearly $147 million in AUM.

Jason Huffman of D’Iberville, Miss., joined Concurrent from Wells Fargo Advisors with $36 million in AUM.

John Reeber, also previously with Wells Fargo Advisors, joined Concurrent in the Grosse Pointe, Mich., area. He manages and advises $30 million in client assets.

“In a year of uncertainty, more and more advisors are drawn to Concurrent because they can rely on our robust platform and be fully accessible remotely, as they spend their time intensely focusing on their clients versus spending valuable time on administrative tasks,” said Kevin McFarland, Concurrent founding partner, in a statement.

San Diego-based Concurrent was founded in 2016 and serves 115 advisors in 49 offices. The partnership of independent advisors has more than $9.1 billion in AUM and approximately $9.5 billion under advisement as of November.
