Chicago-based Cresset Capital named Dave Jackson to the role of chief experience officer and Michael Costabile as chief financial officer of its RIA subsidiary Cresset Asset Management, according to a news release.
Costabile was most recently CFO of RIA Moneta Group, with $20 billion in client assets under management. He began his career in the audit division of Arthur Andersen in Pittsburgh. Currently based in St. Louis, he will relocate to Cresset’s Chicago headquarters.
As chief experience officer, Jackson will lead Cresset’s efforts to ensure a positive experience for clients. Prior to joining the firm, he served as principal with Evanston Advisors, a multi-family-office wealth management firm that Cresset acquired in early 2019.
Since its founding by private equity entrepreneurs Eric Becker and Avy Stein in 2017, Cresset has grown to over $5 billion in assets under management.
