A six-member team that handles about $337 million in client assets has exited Cetera to join RBC Wealth Management in Memphis, Tenn., according to a news release.

The Clarity First Group includes senior vice presidents and financial advisors Steve Anderson, Frank Lequerica and Chris Hebert; financial advisor Justin Wright; and client associates Amy Smith and Heather Walker.

The team had been with Securian Financial Services for about seven years when in August it transitioned to Cetera by way of acquisition. Cetera bought Securian Financial retail wealth business, which had more than 1,000 financial professionals with $47.4 billion in assets under administration and $24.8 billion in assets under management.

Anderson began his career in 2006 with Northwestern Mutual Investment Services and worked briefly for Park Avenue Securities and Raymond James & Associates before joining Securian in 2016, according to BrokerCheck. Lequerica started at Park Avenue in 2013 and worked at Mutual of Omaha Investor Services before joining Securian in 2016. Hebert started in 2006 at New England Securities and moved to Park Avenue in 2008 before joining Securian in 2015. And Wright started at Raymond James & Associates in 2013, where he worked for a year. He registered again in 2016 with Securian.

The team will report to Nat Hooker, Memphis branch director.
