A former UBS Financial Services team that managed about $1.2 billion in client assets has joined Raymond James & Associates’ employee advisor channel in Overland Park, Kansas, the company announced today.

The seven-member team includes financial advisors Jared Stricklin, Darryl Dunn and Robert Meeder; financial planning consultants Alin Frentzen and Lucas Harris; and senior registered sales associates Deborah Doss and Wendy Jennings.

The team, which operate as MDS Advisors of Raymond James, serves a diverse client base ranging from medical professionals and engineers to business owners and c-suite executives, as well as families and individuals, with a focus on multigenerational planning.

Dunn, senior vice president of investments and managing director, spent 13 years at UBS where he was a senior vice president and financial advisor. He said the team chose Raymond James because of the firm’s client focused culture, stability and support. “It’s a natural fit for our team’s values, where clients come first," he said in a statement. "This foundation, along with Raymond James’ broad resources, will allow us to continue providing our clients with high quality service.”

Stricklin, senior vice president of investments and managing director, spent 10 years at UBS as a senior vice president and financial advisor.

Meeder, senior vice president of wealth management, joined the industry in 1980. He specializes in market risk assessment, individual stock selection and portfolio construction. He previously worked with senior executives and assisting corporations with raising capital, selling founders’ stock and managing institutional equity sales, according to a press release.
