It wasn’t immediately clear how many reps would be impacted by the dissolution of Newport Coast. At the time the charges were brought in 2014, the firm had approximately 122 registered reps, according to Finra.
Another broker-dealer, West Park Capital, based in Los Angeles, has reportedly brought on some former Newport Coast brokers.
Officials at West Park Capital were not immediately available Tuesday. A call to Newport Coast’s last known phone number rang through to a West Park office in Irvine, Calif.
