With unemployment below 4 percent, it's a shopper's market when it comes to job hunting. Now Glassdoor has released a new report on the most ideal places to look.

Glassdoor has released the 2019 edition of its annual Best Places to Work report, which is largely based on the anonymous job reviews that people post on its website.

There is one notable change in the new report: Facebook, which topped the list in 2018, was knocked off its perch, to the bottom half of the list.

It's the latest blow for the social media company, which this year has been under siege over its privacy policies, its possible role in Russia influencing U.S. elections and its overall influence in shaping public opinion. The company's share price has also taken a pounding this year as Congress continues to hint at possible regulation of the company.

Glassdoor said it analyzed company reviews across eight variables: overall company rating, career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, senior management, work-life balance, likelihood of respondents to recommend the organization to a friend and six-month business outlook.

These companies, in ascending order, were ranked by Glassdoor as the most employee-friendly:

10. Southwest Airlines

Industry: Transportation

Mission: "The mission of Southwest Airlines is dedication to the highest quality of customer service delivered with a sense of warmth, friendliness, individual pride and company spirit."

Glassdoor rating: 4.4
