With unemployment below 4 percent, it's a shopper's market when it comes to job hunting. Now Glassdoor has released a new report on the most ideal places to look.
Glassdoor has released the 2019 edition of its annual Best Places to Work report, which is largely based on the anonymous job reviews that people post on its website.
There is one notable change in the new report: Facebook, which topped the list in 2018, was knocked off its perch, to the bottom half of the list.
It's the latest blow for the social media company, which this year has been under siege over its privacy policies, its possible role in Russia influencing U.S. elections and its overall influence in shaping public opinion. The company's share price has also taken a pounding this year as Congress continues to hint at possible regulation of the company.
Glassdoor said it analyzed company reviews across eight variables: overall company rating, career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, senior management, work-life balance, likelihood of respondents to recommend the organization to a friend and six-month business outlook.
These companies, in ascending order, were ranked by Glassdoor as the most employee-friendly:
10. Southwest Airlines
Industry: Transportation
Mission: "The mission of Southwest Airlines is dedication to the highest quality of customer service delivered with a sense of warmth, friendliness, individual pride and company spirit."
Glassdoor rating: 4.4
Employees boast about their free flight privileges and the generous health and 401(k) plans.
9. lululemon
Industry: Apparel
Mission: "Founded in Vancouver, Canada, in 1998, lululemon athletica is a technical athletic apparel company for yoga, running, training and most other sweaty pursuits."
Glassdoor rating: 4.4
Employee discounts at lululemon stores, health benefits and vacation and paid time-off policies are lauded by workers.
8. Google
Industry: Internet services
Mission: "Our mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful."
Glassdoor rating: 4.4
Google provides its employees with free food, and it gets rave reviews for its health and 401(k) plans.
7. Facebook
Industry: Social media
Mission: "Founded in 2004, Facebook's mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. People use Facebook to stay connected with friends and family, to discover what's going on in the world and to share and express what matters to them."
Glassdoor rating: 4.5
The company is another tech company that rolls out the free lunch wagon, restocking its microkitchens daily, according to one worker. Workers also compliment the company for its health insurance and maternity/paternity leave policies.
6. LinkedIn
Industry: Social media
Mission: "The mission of LinkedIn is simple: connect the world's professionals to make them more productive and successful."
Glassdoor rating: 4.5
The matching 401(k) plan is the most talked-about benefit, but workers also say they love the free food options and the 12 weeks maternity/paternity leave.
5. Boston Consulting Group
Industry: Management consulting

Glassdoor rating: 4.5
Employees say there are no deductions from their paycheck for health insurance -- it's provided free by the company, with $5 copays. Boston Consulting also provides four months of paid maternity leave, workers say.
4. Procore Technologies

Glassdoor rating: 4.5
Unlimited vacations, four months paid maternity leave, dog-friendly offices and stock options are among the perks workers talk about.

Glassdoor rating: 4.5
Workers say the benefits are outstanding for a fast-food restaurant, with quality health insurance that includes dental and vision coverage, above-average pay and a 401(k) plan.
