Raymond James Financial Services has recruited a husband-and-wife team with a $120 million in client assets to the firm’s independent advisor channel in Glendale, Ariz., the company announced today.

Financial advisors Brian Derrick and Lori Derrick join the RJFS-affiliated practice Mainspring Wealth Advisors from Edward Jones. They operate as Derrick Family Financial.

Brian Derrick has been in the financial services industry for roughly 20 years, and joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor in 2005. Lori Derrick began her career in the financial services industry in 2007 as a branch office administrator at Edward Jones. She became a financial advisor in 2013.

Brian Derrick said in a statement they were attracted to the independence and full-business ownership aspect that Raymond James offers. “The advanced technology gives us the ability to have so many more tools in our toolbox to best serve our clients during all of the uncertainties the pandemic brings and as we plan for their future.”

Raymond James Financial Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raymond James Financial Inc., which has about 8,200 financial advisors throughout the U.S., Canada and overseas, and a total of $930 billion in client assets.
