Tampa, Fla.-based Independent Financial Partners announced the addition of two members to the leadership team of its recently rebranded IFP Plan Advisors Group.

Kimberly Shaw Elliott will become president of IFP Plan Advisors, as well as in-house Erisa counsel. A private practice attorney, she previously served as partner for Baugh, Dalton, Carlson, & Ryan.

Jay Bloom has been hired as director of business development for IFP Plan Advisors. He previously served as president and CEO of Strategic Growth Advisors, a firm he co-founded in 2011.

Founded in 2000, IFP has grown to partner with a network of 500 financial advisors managing $6 billion in client assets.
