White Plains, N.Y., based-Informa Investment Solutions (IIS) has appointed James Hivick as senior vice president of Strategic Client Solutions. Hivick will direct enterprise sales strategy and implementation for IIS's newly integrated product offerings, spanning wealth management, data collection and manager research, performance measurement and client communications. Hivick, most recently with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney where he served as vice president of the Global Wealth Management Consulting Group, was a key player in integrating all functionality of the two firms' CRM programs into one platform. Hivick also served as director of Global Infrastructure Strategy for the Alternative Investment Strategies unit as well as CFO of Citicorp Futures at Citibank. Additionally, Hivick held senior positions at First Union Corp. and the Bank of Montreal.
