Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a financial services firm headquartered in Philadelphia, has hired two former Raymond James teams to staff its new office in Greenville, S.C., according to a news release. The two teams manage a combined total of $290 million in client assets.
Waingart Wealth Advisors is a four-person team led by Edwin Waingart, executive vice president/investments. He is joined by Account Executive George Koutsioukis, Senior Registered Private Client Associate Julie Gawel, and Registered Private Client Associate Christina Latham. The team manages nearly $134 million.
Luke Capital Management is led by David Luke, an industry veteran with 28 years of experience as senior vice president/wealth management. Luke and his team, including Private Client Associate Cabrini Harnage and Registered Private Client Associate Charlotte Stillwell, manage more than $155 million in client assets.
The Greenville office is Janney’s fifth in the state, and the fourth office the firm has opened in the Carolinas since 2017.
