SVB Private, a diversified financial services company headquartered in Santa Clara, Calif., has appointed Jon Kropf to head Advisor Business Development, the company announced today in a news release.
In the newly created role, Kropf is responsible for directing SVB Private’s national advisor recruiting strategy and execution--a key responsibility as the firm continues to attract advisor talent and expand its footprint in regional markets where innovation economy clients are located, the company said.
Kropf, a graduate of Macalester College, most recently served as senior vice president at First Republic Bank, where he led national advisor hiring for private wealth management. The industry veteran reportedly brings a diverse set of experiences across wealth management, investment management, digital banking and risk management to his new position with SVB Private.
