Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. (MassMutual), based in Springfield, Mass., has appointed Carla Ardell as head of relationship management for the South Central region.
Ardell, who is based in Denver, is responsible for leading a team of 10 relationship managers supporting retirement plans in the corporate, nonprofit and government markets.
Ardell was most recently senior director of national practice management at New York-based TIAA. She spent 17 years as director and national relationship manager with Bank of America’s institutional retirement and benefits solutions.
Ardell earned a bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics and business administration from Regis University. She received an M.B.A. degree from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
