New York-based Mercury Capital Advisors has expanded its iFunds distribution team with the announcement on Monday of three hires.
Donal Mastrangelo joins as executive director and head of U.S. iFunds distribution. Mastrangelo previously served as director at Guggenheim Partners covering middle-market consultants, mutlifamily offices, RIAs and bank trust clients.
iFunds is a digital platform allowing advisors and institutional investors access to Mercury Capital’s suite of alternatives managers and pre-IPO opportunities.
In addition, Tyler DeCotis and Tristan Sperry were appointed as analysts on the iFunds distribution team. DeCotis previously worked for Eaton Vance Investment Managers as an internal business developer, and Sperry formerly worked for W.P. Carey’s retail fundraising arm.
