Salient Partners, based in Houston, Tex., has hired, David Linton as managing director, responsible for leading retail sales and distribution activities. Linton most recently served as managing director and head of sales for the Van Kampen Investments division of Morgan Stanley in Chicago.

t has hired David Pologe as strategic accounts director. Pologe will focus on expanding relationships with independent broker-dealers and providing training to financial advisors regarding the benefits of outsourcing to a turnkey asset manager provider. Pologe has 20 years investment advisory experience, most recently as executive director of global asset management with UBS.

Harb, Levy & Weiland LLP, a San Francisco-based accounting, tax and advisory firm, will merge with EisnerAmper LLP.  Upon completion of the merger, EisnerAmper will provide services to more than 1,300 financial service clients and revenues will exceed $270 million. The firm will have about 180 partners and offices throughout the New York area, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Mumbai and the Cayman Islands.

TPW Financial, an independent wealth management firm based in Boston, has appointed Kimberly Clouse as president. Clouse will focus on managing client relationships, formulating TPW's investment strategy and growing the business. Former positions include managing director at Athena Capital Advisors and CEO of Hale and Dorr Wealth Advisors. Clouse also serves on the board of the Young Presidents' Organization's New England Chapter and is the champion of YPO's recently launched Women on Boards Initiative.
