A company that works with 3,000 financial advisors who provide retirement plan services to their clients has expanded its fund line-up by adding sustainable fund family Parnassus Investments.
CPI Qualified Plan Consultants in Great Bend, Kan., a third-party recordkeeper and administration company that works almost exclusively with financial advisors, announced today that the Parnassus famly would be added to its retirement plan platform.
Cheri L. Moeder, CPI's director of corporate communications, say the company offers 66 fund families with a total of about 5,000 investments that advisors use to help plan sponsors put together 401(k), 403(b) and other kinds of retirement plans for their employees. Parnassus is the third sustainable or socially responsible fund family that CPI has added to its roster. The other two are The Timothy Plan and MMA/Praxis. She added some of the other fund families have SRI offerings but are not primarily focused on that kind of investing.
Parnassus Investments is an independent and employee-owned investment management company based in San Francisco. Founded in 1984, the firm seeks to invest in good businesses that have sustainable competitive advantages, increasingly relevant products or services, quality management teams and ethical business practices.
