Six financial advisors with a combined  $530 million in assets under management have joined Raymond James Financial Services’ (RJFS) independent advisor channel in Western N.Y. and Illinois.

The advisors join RJFS-affiliated practice Crux Wealth Advisors (CWA), a Long Beach, Calif.-based group that has expanded in the last two years across the country, with additions on the West Coast and the Central and Northeast regions.

JoAnn Favia, a partner of CWA and RJFS financial advisor, joins in Villa Park, Ill. This addition marks the opening of the group’s first office in Chicago. Favia has more than 35 years of industry experience, serving as a broker at multiple firms, and later founding and serving as president of her own independent practice, the Favia Group, since 2002. She joins Raymond James and CWA from Kestra Investment Services, where she previously managed about $175 million in assets. Joining her are Julia Perez, relationship manager, and Dan Carthew, retirement plan associate.

Jonathan Plail, president and CEO of Buffalo, N.Y.-based Plail Wealth Management, a practice partnered with CWA. He joins from Merrill Lynch, where he previously managed about $120 million in client assets. Joining him at Raymond James are Carolyn Daigler, relationship manager, and Matthew Francis, client services manager.

Wealth advisors Anthony Pandolfi and Andrew Durfee of Buffalo, N.Y., join Raymond James and CWA from UBS Financial Services, where they previously managed about $110 million in assets. Pandolfi was with Morgan Stanley for four years before moving to UBS in 2008. Durfee began his career in 2004 at Morgan Stanley and joined UBS in 2011.

Tony Cirocco and Jared Smith, located in Buffalo, N.Y. join the firm from Key Investment Services, where they managed more than $125 million in assets. Cirocco and began his financial services career in 2011 with HSBC Securities before transitioning to First Niagara Investment Services and LPL Financial. Smith began with HSBC Securities in 2006. He followed the same path as Cirocco, transitioning to First Niagara Investment Services and LPL Financial.
