RMB Capital, an independent investment advisory firm based in Chicago, has promoted Jeanette Gawrisch, Loren Knaster and Katherine Lester to partner, expanding the total number of its partners to 23, the company announced in a news release.

In 1999, Gawrisch began working with RMB’s future co-founders, Dick Burridge and Frederick Paulman, and became a member of their founding team at RMB in 2005. She eventually transitioned to back-office operations and human resources, which she currently manages. Gawrisch received her bachelor’s degree in graphic arts from DePaul University.

Knaster joined the firm in 2011, and currently serves as a wealth advisor in the firm’s Denver and Jackson Hole, Wyo., offices. Knaster holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and psychology from Syracuse University, and a master’s degree in conflict resolution from the University of Denver.

Lester joined RMB shortly after its founding in 2005. She currently serves as training and development manager for the firm’s wealth management business. Lester holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and Spanish from the University of Dayton, and an MBA in change management and health sector management from Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University.
