Rockefeller Capital Management has entered the Colorado market with the addition of the Richeda and Farr Group, a former Merrill Lynch Wealth Management team with $450 million in assets under management, according to a news release.

The Richeda and Farr Group is led by Matthew Richeda, managing director and private wealth advisor, and Christopher Farr, first vice president and private wealth advisor. It also includes Christopher Nazzaro, associate vice president and senior client associate, and Anna Miller, client associate. The team will join the central division directed by Michael Armondo.

Richeda joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in the summer of 1996 after having spent several years in the public finance space of the investment banking industry in both St. Louis and Houston. Farr, who has been in the financial services industry since 2002, joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management team in 2011. And Nazzaro joined the team in 2016.

“Building on the steady growth our private wealth business experienced last year, we are thrilled to welcome The Richeda and Farr Group as our first team in Colorado,” Armondo said in a statement. “The robust and integrated capabilities of Rockefeller, coupled with this team’s decades of experience and success in delivering unparalleled client service, will bring a new and differentiated wealth management experience to clients throughout this region.”

New York City-based Rockefeller Capital Management, an offshoot of Rockefeller & Co., was created in 2018. With the addition of The Richeda and Farr Group, Rockefeller’s private wealth business now has 45 teams across the U.S.
