Rockefeller Capital Management today announced that Martin Lawyer Daniels, an advisor team with $600 million in assets under management, has left Merrill Lynch to join its private wealth business. They will be Rockefeller’s first San Antonio-based team to join its Central division.
Martin Lawyer Daniels is led by Elmer Martin, managing director and private wealth advisor; Patty Lawyer, managing director and private wealth advisor; and Brett Daniels, first vice president and private wealth advisor. The team also includes associate vice presidents and senior client associates Judith Fernandez and Sylvia Hydrick, as well as client associate Terry Pawelek. The group will report to divisional director Michael Armondo.
Martin had been with Merrill Lynch since 1987, Lawyer since 1995 and Daniels spent five years in the healthcare consulting industry before joining Merrill Lynch in 2010.
New York City-based Rockefeller in the past few weeks has expanded into new markets including Newport Beach, Calif., and Denver. The addition of Martin Lawyer Daniels brings its private wealth business to 47 teams across the nation, and marks Rockefeller’s fourth location in its Central Division.
