Snowden Lane Partners, an independent wealth advisory firm headquartered in New York City, has hired a team of Wells Fargo advisors managing $400 million in client assets, the company said in a news release.

The former Wells Fargo advisors, branded as 540 Madison Wealth Advisors Group, join Snowden Lane’s international team at its New York City offices.

The 540 Madison Wealth Advisors team consists of Mike Toledo, senior partner and managing director; Jacobson Bathelmy, senior partner and managing director; Wilton Mejia, senior partner and managing director; Daniel Arce, private wealth advisor and senior registered client relationship manager; and Carolina Yepez, senior registered client relationship manager. All of them joined from Wells Fargo Advisors.

The team will also include Alfredo Garcia, senior partner and managing director, and Fabian Munoz, client relationship manager, who joined Snowden Lane from Wells Fargo earlier this month. Together, the team will cater to an international clientele, with an emphasis on Latin America.

Richard Ganter, a Snowden Lane managing director, said his company is committed to helping support the new advisors as they scale their global business.

“While some advisory firms have reduced offerings, and in some cases eliminated them altogether, we’ve been laser-focused on constantly adding to our first-class infrastructure and platform to help our advisors better serve their clients,” Ganter said in the news release. “It’s incredible what smart, dedicated and caring advisors can do when they operate in an environment that allows their talents to flourish.”

Founded in 2011, Snowden Lane Partners is a registered investment advisor and broker-dealer.
