We shall see. Fed officials will be making speeches this week, with Powell talking tomorrow and also testifying before Congress Wednesday and Thursday.
Markets are going to be looking for clues from the Fed about July 31st. If the Fed officials don’t make it obvious that a 25 bip cut isn’t in the bag, there’s going to be some volatility.
