Raymond James has launched a Veteran Financial Advisors Network (VFAN) to support service veterans and military family members interested in pursuing a career in the financial services industry.
The network provides access to customized skills programs, development opportunities and mentorships. Its initiatives include outreach to veterans who may be interested in the financial advice profession and may have the skills and experience through their military service to pursue a career in it. The network’s advisors also give back to veterans and military family members through philanthropy and volunteerism in their local communities.
DPL Launches Referral Program For Advisors With Annuity-Seeking Investors
DPL Financial Partners, a Louisville, Ky.-based insurance platform for registered investment advisors, has unveiled a new program designed to refer individual investors with questions about insurance products to advisors in its network.
The initiative reportedly grew after people contacted the firm looking to learn more about commission-free annuities and other insurance products.
Under the program, DPL will ask interested investors a few basic questions about the kind of advice they seek, as well as their location, and will then match them with a fiduciary advisor who can help. Advisors in DPL’s nationwide network can apply to participate through their DPL consultant.
