Grove Point Financial, a boutique independent wealth management partner in Rockville, Md., has hired Tyson Lozano as vice president of business development, the company announced today in a news release.
In his new role, Lozano will recruit for the company’s independent broker-dealer and registered investment advisor. His duties will include networking, sourcing leads and managing prospective firms.
Lozano is an industry veteran who has consulted and recruited nearly 200 financial advisors seeking their independence. Prior to joining Grove Point, Lozano served as vice president of advisor recruiting at FSC Securities. He has also held senior-level recruiting roles with Raymond James and LPL Financial.
Lozano will report to Rob Engle, who joined Grove Point earlier this year as executive vice president and head of business development.
