WestPoint Financial Group in Indianapolis has merged with three regional financial services firms, creating one of the largest insurance and wealth management firms in the Midwest, according to a company press release.
The three firms—Hoopis Group LLC., MassMutual Illinois and MassMutual Chicago, which operated as general agencies of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company—will fall under the name WestPoint Financial Group. Greg McRoberts, managing partner, will lead it.
The mega firm will boast a team of 500 advisors across Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Wisconsin and West Virginia. It will serve 200,000 clients with $34 billion of life insurance in force and $14 billion in assets under management.
