Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank has appointed four managing directors to its Cincinnati office.

Christopher Baucom has been appointed managing director of investment consulting. Baucom provides customized and integrated solutions for personal and family foundation portfolios. Before joining Ascent, Baucom worked at Fort Washington Investment Advisors, most recently serving as managing director of private equity and as a member of the firm’s investment committee. Baucom was also a co-founder of Copernus Inc., a venture-backed software company specializing in the management of business information.

Justin Stone has been appointed managing director of client experience. Stone is responsible for ensuring a differentiated client experience by creating and organizing educational and entertainment activities to help families realize a vision for the impact of their wealth. Previously, Stone served as assistant vice president of marketing and product development for Fort Washington Investment Advisors.

Lawrence Lesko has been appointed managing director of financial administration. Lesko works with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, serving as their chief financial officer. Lesko brings more than 18 years of experience in accounting, auditing, investment portfolio management and financial reporting for family offices. Before joining Ascent, Lesko served as investment officer and portfolio manager for the Mirador division of Fifth Third Bank.

Scott Mahon has been appointed managing director of strategic wealth planning. Mahon will focus on providing advanced multigenerational planning, family governance and trust and fiduciary advisory services to Ascent’s clients. Mahon has more than 23 years of experience assisting high-net-worth families and business owners. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of business succession and wealth planning for The Private Client Reserve of U.S Bank. He also served as a firm director of Deloitte LLP.
