Jim Livingston, president and CEO of National Planning Holdings, has joined the 2012 board of directors for the Financial Services Institute. Livingston will assist the FSI in its mission of creating a more responsible regulatory environment for independent broker-dealers and their affiliated independent financial advisors through effective advocacy, education and public awareness.
Established in January 2004, the FSI works to ensure that all individuals have access to competent and affordable financial advice, products and services through involvement in FINRA governance, the regulatory environment and the legislative process.
