Pensions & Investment Research Consultants (PIRC) has named Ellie Winninghoff, a writer for Financial Advisor and Private Wealth magazines as well as the FA/PW Impact Investing newsletter, as the recipient of its 2012 Responsible Investment Journalist Award. This is the third year the awards have been presented, and they have been organized and sponsored by PIRC and Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP. Each year sees an increase in entries to the awards, making it a tough competition.
Winninghoff was recognized for articles that she wrote for the FA green section of Financial Advisor. PIRC is the UK's leading independent research and advisory consultancy, providing services to institutional investors on corporate governance and corporate social responsibility.
