Procyon Partners, a new independent firm in Shelton, Conn., has joined Dynasty Financial Partners, a network of advisory firms, Dynasty announced Monday.
Procyon Partners was launched by Phil Fiore, Jeff Farrar, Lou Gloria, Tom Gahan and Chris Foster. Fiore previously was a senior vice president of investments, a senior institutional consultant and a senior retirement plan consultant at UBS. He and the other founding partners were the team known as The FDG Group at UBS.
The new firm, which will operate under two separate RIAs to distinguish the investment consulting practice from the personal wealth management group, has a combined total of 10 employees. They previously managed, on both a non-discretionary and discretionary basis at their prior firm, more than $8 billion in institutional assets and more than $400 million in private wealth assets.
