Triad Advisors has recruited Tribe Financial Group, an Oregon-based hybrid practice with a $100 million in client assets, to its corporate registered investment advisor, Triad Hybrid Solutions, according to a news release.

Founded in 2013 by managing partners Mary Dill and Kyle Sullivan, Tribe has offices in Lake Oswego and Bend, Ore. The firm specializes in financial planning, asset management, estate planning, tax planning, legacy planning and business consulting, the release said.

In a joint statement, Dill and Sullivan said they have seen strong growth in both the fee and commission sides of their business since its founding, and it only made sense to partner with Triad, a firm that was built from the ground up to support the needs of hybrid advisor businesses.

“Triad’s platforms and technology lead the industry, and the resources and tools they can offer through their Advisor Group parent company are very exciting to us. But the true attraction for us was the Triad sense of community and culture. Just as we enjoy working with clients with whom our culture fits, we are thrilled to be working side-by-side with a home office team that understands us and knows how to help us reach our full potential,” they said.

Jeff Rosenthal, Triad CEO and president, said Tribe Financial Group is a perfect fit with Triad’s advisor community and culture. He said from the outset, they have been extremely impressed with the co-founders, “who have shown tremendous dedication to building their business through the delivery of an exceptional client service experience.”

Headquartered in Atlanta, Triad Advisors is part of Advisor Group, one of the nation's largest networks of independent financial professionals with approximately 11,300 financial professionals and more than $450 billion in client assets. Triad is a national broker-dealer as well as a multi-custodial registered investment adviser firm that was an early pioneer and continued leader in the hybrid registered investment adviser marketplace.
