BNY Mellon Wealth Management has appointed Rajesh Nakadi to the position of head of investments for the firm's global family office segment, according to a news release.

Nakadi, an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience working with ultra-high-net-worth and family office clients, will oversee family office client relationships at BNY Mellon. He will also supervise all investment strategies and lead the global family office investment team. 

Before joining BNY Mellon, he served as senior vice president for the global family office at UBS Private Wealth Management for seven years. He has also held various leadership and managerial roles at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch.

Nakadi received a B.S. degree from the National Institute of Technology in Mangalore, India; an M.S. degree from Florida Atlantic University; and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

He is based in the company’s New York City headquarters and reports to Vincent Hayes, global head of the Family Office.
